Mold threatens health. And the residents of one government-subsidized housing in Florida have been experiencing first-hand some of the illnesses that it could bring.
The complex in question is at 1515 NW 10th St in Gainesville. One of its residents said that she noticed the problem in the apartment since last year, months after she moved in. But it seems that the mold issue in the place started long before that time as another tenant relayed that she has been dealing with it since five years ago.
The residents were offered a relocation at a hotel in January while the problem was being resolved. And until today, they yet couldn’t return. Shared by other tenants, they also had to throw out several of their belongings due to the contamination of the spores.
According to the Code Enforcement, humidity was the likely cause of the mold presence. However, officials said they couldn’t anything about it at the moment as they could only issue a violation if there’s a physical damage. The residents, as well, voiced out that they couldn’t afford to leave the complex due to financial constraint.
The sister property of the affected housing, which is just around its corner, was also said to have the same problem. However, its management did not say whether the resident will be moved in a hotel, as the other complex did, or not.

Indeed, mold is a big risk to health. Exposure to it could lead to allergies, difficulty in breathing, coughing and many other illnesses. In some cases, it is even linked to death.
But you will need a mold removal spray to do that. Which one must you get though? The answer is Molderizer. Unlike the majority of cleaning products today, it doesn’t contain harmful chemicals that could further endanger anyone’s health.
Moreover, effective as it is, it cuts the need to scrub hard for hours. And that makes the clean-up easier and faster to finish.
